A27 – Business voice needs to be heard

Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce says it is important the business voice is heard in the campaign for improvements on the A27.

The Chamber will attend the launch of A27 Action event on Thursday June 26th at the Exhibition Hall of Worthing College,  1 Sanditon Way, Worthing from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.  They encourage businesses also to either attend or send them your business issues and evidence to support the need for improvements on this major road.

  • How does the A27 affect your business?
  • Does this restrict the area you can trade in?
  • Does it inhibit employment?

A27 Action has been set up by local businesses, Council Leaders and local Members of Parliament. Work on A27 Action is being overseen by a Steering Group of local business leaders and elected community representatives. The Group comprises:-

Gillian Brown – Leader of Arun District Council on behalf of the West Sussex coastal Borough/District Council Leaders: Heather Caird (Chichester DC), Neil Parkin (Adur DC) and Paul Yallop (Worthing BC)
