Accused Carphone thief appears in court

 

A man charged with stealing two mobile phones from the Carphone Warehouse in Worthing on March 3rd appeared at South West London Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (May 29th).

Jay Eljonsafi, 21, of Pinner Road, Northwood faced three charges of theft from Carphone Warehouse shops.  In addition to the Worthing theft he is alleged to have stolen five mobiles from the George Street, Richmond branch on February 2nd and another six from the same shop on October 7th last year.   The total value of alleged mobile phone thefts is more than £8,000.

Mr  Eljonsafi  was bailed on the condition he does not enter the Borough of Richmond or any Carphone Warehouse shop.  He is due to appear at Kingston Crown Court on June 12th.
