Acoustic Showcase with Django Black at Bar 42


Bar 42, Worthing presents Live Thursday’s Acoustic Showcase this week (November 6th from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm) with Django Black.

In support are Anonymous Henchmen, Fax From The Future, Toby Coomber,  Charlie Mooney and Mortie Pockett.

Django Black – 10.00 pm:  Coming off of support slots for the likes of Pulled Apart by Horses, The Wytches and Crooked Fingers (Eric Bachmann of the Archers of Loaf), Grenades’ frontman Django Black will be performing songs from his album Pantheons; a body of work that brings tales of classical mythology and folklore into the present.

Anonymous Henchmen – 9.20 pm:  Acoustic music, catchy melodies and fun from the UK’s south coast.

Fax From The Future
– 8.40pm: Rockabilly-geek band from the southern shores of England. We write music about zombies, Star Trek and moshing until your glasses fall off.

Toby Coomber – 8.10 pm: Local singer-song writer who specialises in spoken word poetry

Charlie Mooney – 7.35 pm:  An original, acoustic guitarist/singer – songwriter from the south coast of England.

Mortie Pockett – 7.00 pm: With low, bone shakin’ vocals and foot stompin’ strumming of his acoustic guitar, Mortie Pockett creates an interesting and refreshing sound and style.

Bar 42 is at 42 Marine Parade on Worthing seafront.
