Environmentalist Nicola Peel speaks at the Worthing World Development Movement meeting at West Worthing Baptist Church at 7.30 pm on Sunday July 13th.
Nicola is a full time environmentalist and is dedicated to environmental education and the balance and harmony of our planet.
She has recently released a film documentary ‘Blood in the Amazon’ showing a journey she took from the Amazon headwaters in Ecuador to Brazil investigating the effects of the oil industry on the environment and the indigenous people who live there.
The documentary goes from the largest environmental lawsuit in the history of the world and the horrific contamination to a solution to the pollution they face and the exciting new Yasuni proposal.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
The talk will be followed by the Worthing World Development Movement Annual General Meeting.
