Surrey and BBC weather expert Ian Currie gives the second in a series of early evening talks at Worthing Library on Thursday May 8th at 6.00 pm.
Ian is a writer and broadcaster and has presented ‘Weather Watch’ for BBC Southern Counties Radio where he also presents a monthly slot on the popular show for gardeners, Dig It. He has also appeared on the BBC South TV ‘Inside Out’ series.
He is the author of ‘Red Sky at Night’, ‘Frosts, Freezes and Fairs’ and the popular Michelin series ‘I spy Weather’. He is a committee member of the Climatological Observers Link and a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society. He currently manages the Frosted Earth website which gives a detailed forecast of weather conditions in the Southeast for up to 72 hours ahead.
