‘Beach Creatures’ Exhibition at St Paul’s

‘Beach Creatures’ Exhibition at St Paul’s

‘Beach Creatures’ – an exhibition by children at Vale Primary and Middle School is at the St Paul’s Centre from today (Monday May 18th) to Sunday May 24th.

The art project was created by Red Pebble Design as a positive way to highlight the issue of rubbish found on our local beaches. The children got to further their design skills and understand how to turn discarded things into something fun and imaginative. They also found out what this issue means to animals living in the sea and on beaches. The results are their own thoughts on what needs to be done to address this issue.

Kerstin Sonnemann of Red Pebble Design said: “Come and see the Beach Creatures – created by year 5 Students from the Vale School in Findon. Meet Barbera Wire, Octo-Hook, Finnless Frank and many more and learn about ways to protect our marine environments.”

The exhibition is open daily from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

St Paul’s Centre is at 55b Chapel Street, Worthing.
