‘I believe in Unicorns’ at The Connaught Studio

The Connaught Studio presents Michael Morpurgo’s ‘I believe in Unicorns’ at The Connaught Studio, Worthing  at 2.00 pm on Saturday June 21st.

Olivier Award nominated Wizard Presents bring best-selling children’s author Michael Morpurgo’s enchanting tale to life in an utterly magical interactive show (The Stage) set in the library filled with books.

Directed by winner of two awards for innovation in children’s theatre, Dani Parr, ‘I Believe in Unicorns’ comes fresh from a highly acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe and a sell-out tour of libraries across the Home Counties.

Tomas loves playing outdoors…he hates school, books and being dragged to the library by his mother. But his world is turned upside down the day he meets the Unicorn and the Unicorn Lady and is spellbound by their story. Discover the power of storytelling to transform lives as Tomas, with his newfound love of books, becomes instrumental in saving his burning library when his village is devastated by war.

Contribute to the story by bringing your own children’s book to become part of the set and swap it for another at the end of the performance.

Suitable for families with children aged 5 – 11 years

Part of Worthing World of Words Festival, a celebration of books, literature, drama and the joy of words.

The Connaught Studio is in Union Place, Worthing.
