The Cricketers pub in Broadwater hosts a Big Lunch on Bank Holiday Monday (May 27th) between midday and 3.00 pm.
There will be a raffle, entertainment, games, face painting, and of course a Big Lunch. All you have to do is come along with a dish for the community Big Lunch table and relax and enjoy the afternoon.
All proceeds from the raffle, any monies raised on the day and a donation from the pub will go to the Broadwater Community Centre.
Big Lunch organiser Josy Adams said: “The whole point of the day is pubs used to be the heart of the community but sadly that seems to have been lost over time so the aim of the lunch is really just to bring the local community together and create a good, fun, family afternoon.
“To keep it really community based we have decided to donate all proceeds from the raffle, any monies raised on the day and a donation from the pub to the Broadwater Community Centre.”
If you would like to get involved or donate a prize that would be greatly appreciated.
