Broadwater Community Notice Board is here – at last

The long awaited Broadwater Community Notice Board is in situ on the green in front of Cricketers Parade shops.  Broadwater Community Association first mooted the idea eleven years ago and look forward at long last to the official unveiling on Friday.

Worthing Mayor Bob Smytherman will officially unveil the notice board on Friday June 28th at 11.00 am.  Bob will be accompanied by Mayoress Norah Fisher.

The holes were dug today (Tuesday June 25th) and the board erected – the doors will be on tomorrow. Northbrook College students both constructed the notice board and are arranging the installation.

Broadwater Community Association has overseen the project from day one and will be the holders of the key for the future.

West Sussex County Council provided the necessary funds.
