Burglaries up in Gaisford

Burglaries up in Gaisford

At the Gaisford Police Neighbourhood Panel held on Monday (June 23rd) local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Cathy Dines reported an increase in burglaries.

Cathy reported 11 burglaries, 7 bicycle thefts, 9 drugs reports, 4 nuisance youths and 5 vehicle crimes in the Gaisford ward since the last panel meeting.

The panel decided on two new priorities:

  • PCSO Cathy Dines to raise awareness of increased burglaries in area.
  • Ongoing nuisance youths in Queen Street play park.

The PCSO explained bike marking at Northbrook College is on hold due to less resources.

The next Gaisford Police Neighbourhood Panel is  at 7.00 pm on Monday September 15th at Northbrook College, Broadwater Road, Worthing.

All residents are welcome and are free to raise any concerns.
