A service to remember the Canadians that were stationed in Worthing during WW1 and WW2 takes place today (Sunday August 17th).
The service is at the Canadian Memorial on promenade at the bottom of Grand Avenue, Worthing at 12.30 pm for 1.00pm.
Deputy Mayor Michael Donin who will be Worthing’s first Canadian Mayor next year is attending.
There will be a flypast by a C-47 Dakota of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Peter Teichmann who flew the Kitty Hawk at last year’s service may buzz the crowd.
Lancing Brass Band provides the music.
