Police visited a house in Brendon Road, Worthing on Tuesday (February 11th) after being contacted by members of the community and found a small cannabis factory.
Officers discovered a bedroom being used for the growing of cannabis plants under a lighting system. The factory was dismantled.
Six plants and 38g (1.3oz) of cannabis was recovered at the property, along with hydroponics equipment.
Police arrested a 20-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Worthing, on suspicion of the production of cannabis. They were later released without charge. A 32-year-old man was given a caution for the production of cannabis.
Sergeant Jo Webb, from Worthing’s Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The above intervention is a positive for our district.
“The production of illegal drugs will not be tolerated. If you have any information relating to drugs, from possession to drugs supply and production, please let us know. All information will be dealt with in confidence.”
