‘Don’t be druv’ – celebrate Sussex Day in style in Worthing Town Centre on Sunday June 15th at both Montague Place and South Street Square.
There is a local produce market, street food and real ale beer tent (it is Fathers Day) in Montague Place from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. In South Street Square there is a charity, craft and community groups market.
Live music kicks off in Montague Place at 11.00 am with Thomas a Becket First School Choir, Littlehampton Steel Band, Worthing’s very own singer Jenna Hall and Spring into Soul Gospel Choir around 3.00 pm.
In South Street there will be live music from Northbrook College students, a children’s fairground ride and popular children’s entertainer Jo Jingles. Award winning Glendale Theatre Arts Dance School will also be performing.
Worthing’s new Mayor Vic Walker will be there as will the new Town Crier – recent Mayor Bob Smytherman.
Organiser Colm Sweet advises there are still a few stall places available for charities, community groups and crafters at £10.00 per pitch. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested and we will put you in touch.
