Chocks away

Next weekend is one of Worthing’s favourite weekends of the year as the annual Worthing Birdman takes place. Many flyers take part in the fun Kingfisher Class raising money for charities and Worthing Daily would like to remind you of just two we have featured.

Flying for Canine Partners are Mayoress Norah Fisher’s two intrepid sons Dastardly and Muttley (aka Mark and Nick) who hope to raise at least £1,000. Canine Partners is the charity which trained Mayor Cadet Herbie who allows Norah to live the full and giving life she does.

Help Mark and Nick to surpass their target by going to the donation page created by Mark:

Second up is Worthing Daily’s favourite blonde and Kingfisher veteran Laura Scott who is jumping this year, or as Laura puts it falling with style,  to raise money for Chestnut Tree House Childrens Hospice.   The charity provides specialist care for children with terminal illnesses.

To support Laura go to:

And there are  many more brave souls jumping for their charities in the Kingfisher Class.

Worthing Daily wishes them all well.
