Cyclist from Worthing to Felpham missing

Police are concerned for the welfare of a cyclist who started out from Worthing yesterday (Saturday June 15th) to cycle to Felpham.   Aelfred ‘Aelfi’ Morris, 27, has not been seen since he set off for the cycle ride. His disappearance is out of character and his family are very concerned.

Insp Steve Rayland said: “We and his family are increasingly concerned as Aelfred suffers from depression and has not been out of touch with his family for so long. He set off from Worthing on Saturday to cycle to his grandmother’s in Felpham but he never arrived and he has not made any contact with his family.

“Dedicated search teams and volunteers from the Lowland Search and Rescue Team are searching Eartham Woods near Slindon where Aelfred has recently been.  He also has links to Middleton-on-Sea.  Aelfred, who lives in Bognor, is described as slim, about 6′ 3”, he has short dark hair, a beard, and was wearing a cream hoodie and jeans. He is riding a blue mountain bike and is wearing a blue rucksack.

“If you have seen Aelfred or know of his whereabouts please call police on 101.”
