‘Once damaged’ – a Cerebral Palsy graphic novel

St Paul’s Centre is raising funding and awareness tomorrow (Thursday April 3rd) for “Once damaged”, a graphic novel  ghost written by Jane Vrettos.  The story centres around someone that suffers with cerebral palsy, as well as being diagnosed as bi-polar.

The book has illustrations by Steve Carroll in cartoon form to soften the content, and make it more accessible.  Excerpts of the book will be told and enacted by local actors, including David Stephens and Tonya James.  With live music from “La Luna” – during which there will be an opportunity for people to talk to those involved in the creating of the book.

Doors open at 7.00 pm.

Tickets are available by calling 07900 203368.
