Doggies to take part in Walk to Remember

Doggies to take part in Walk to Remember

Doggies can take part with their owners in the Guild Care ‘Walk to Remember’ in October raising  money for their ‘Building a Home to Remember’ appeal.

There will be prizes for  the ‘Best Dressed ‘ dog on the day. It doesn’t have to be fancy dress – just a fancy rosette will do.

Guild Care asks everyone whether dog owners or not to challenge themselves to walk, run or jog the 5km or 10km route along Worthing seafront and support local people with dementia.

Whether you’re walking to remember a loved one with dementia, to soak up the fun filled atmosphere, for a wonderful walk along Worthing seafront or simply want to make it a day to stand out, your sponsorship money will make a huge difference to local people with dementia.

You could even take part as a character from history to give yourself an extra challenge, enter as a team of super heroes, compete with friends to raise the most money or register to run instead of walk! Once you have registered you will receive a fundraising pack which will include:

Entry is just £15.00 per person which includes fundraising pack, T-shirt, medal and refreshments.

The walk takes place on October 11th and details including how to enter can be found at: http://www.guildcare.org/events
