‘A Doll’s House’ at Connaught Theatre

UK Touring Theatre with Redbridge Drama Centre presents  A Doll’s House  at the Connaught Theatre, Worthing on Wednesday September 24th and Thursday September 25th.

“A woman doesn’t have the right to protect her old dying father, or to save her husband’s life!  I can’t believe that’s true…”

Torvald and Nora Helmer have it all: a loving marriage, three beautiful children, and a secure financial future as a result of Torvald’s new appointment at the bank.  But Nora has a secret, and the arrival of an unexpected visitor on Christmas Eve threatens to tear their lives apart forever…

Following the success of their highly-acclaimed production of Strindberg’s Miss Julie in 2013, UK Touring Theatre returns to the Connaught Theatre with a brand new English version of A Doll’s House; Henrik Ibsen’s groundbreaking play about marriage, money, and the freedom of women in the late 19th century.

This production is the World Premiere of an exciting and accessible new English translation of A Doll’s House; touring to theatres across the UK this Autumn.

Directed by Michael Woodwood.

Tickets are priced at £16.00 with concessions at £2.00 discount.

Show times:  Wednesday September 24th at 7.30 pm and Thursday September 25th at 2.00 pm and 7.30 pm.

The Connaught Theatre is at 3 Union Place, Worthing.
