East Worthing & Shoreham Conservative Association re-adopted local MP Tim Loughton as their candidate for the next General Election in 2015 at a packed meeting last Friday (September 27th).
This will be Mr Loughton’s fifth election campaign, having first been elected in 1997.
Mr Loughton said: “I am delighted and honoured to have been reselected to represent the Conservative Party as your candidate at the next election. My enthusiasm for the job has not diminished over the last 16 and a half years and it has always been a privilege to represent the 90,000 plus residents of this area, both at Westminster and locally.”
Julie Searle, Chair of the East Worthing and Shoreham Conservatives Association said: ‘As Chairman, I am delighted to have Tim standing as candidate again. Alongside all of the important work in Westminster on behalf of his constituents and in pursuing causes for children and young people, he has always been an excellent constituency MP and many local people have benefited from his considerable work over the years.’
