Police arrested three men in Eastbourne in the early hours of this morning (Friday) when a sharp-eyed police dog handler spotted a break-in at a Co-op. The police are investigating a possible link to burglaries at Co-op stores across the county. These include a possible attempted break-in at the Co-op store in Goring Road, Worthing at 11 pm yesterday (Thursday) evening.
Two men, aged 21 and 24, from Slough and a 23-year-old man from High Wycombe were in custody at Eastbourne Friday lunchtime.
Thieves also broke into the Co-op Food store in South Street, Tarring in the early hours of Saturday morning (March 2nd).
