Worthing Society for the Blind hold an Eye Health Awareness Day at 48 Rowlands Road, Worthing from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on Monday September 22nd.
This is a free event offering advice to anyone with a sight problem or concern and to those interested in maintaining good eye health through diet and general care.
Features include the Adur Well Being Team, NHS health advisors, individual eyes’ opticians, the Macular Society and Enhanced Vision (electronic magnifiers). Blood pressure tests and diabetes advice will also be available.
The event is officially opened by Worthing Town Crier Bob Smytherman. Bob is President of the Worthing Society of the Blind.
Refreshments will be available for a small charge.
