Father and son cycle for Macmillan Cancer

Father and son cycle for Macmillan Cancer

Eight year-old Aaron Wilson is cycling with his dad from Worthing Pier to Brighton Pier in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Aaron suggested the idea to dad Craig McLoughlin during the summer when they cycled along Worthing seafront and Aaron spotted someone wearing a Macmillan T-shirt.  He pointed out to his dad the wearer and said Macmillan are the nurses that care for people who have cancer.

Craig was surprised that someone as young as Aaron would know about Macmillan as indeed were Macmillan Cancer Support themselves. Macmillan have given Aaron his own T-shirt for the event.

The ride is almost 15 miles but Aaron proved his worth during the summer with a 12 mile cycle ride with his dad to Shoreham and back which he took in his stride.

Aaron lives in Fife, Scotland with his mother but will be back for the ride in his half term holidays in October.  The ride takes place on Tuesday October 8th.
