Findon trained Tullamore Dew and Christopher Wren both hold entries at this week’s Cheltenham Festival. The Festival is the highlight of the jumps racing calendar culminating in the Gold Cup on Friday.
Nick Gifford’s Tullamore Dew was placed at the meeting last year and connections will hope for another bold show in Thursday’s Byrne Group Plate. The twelve-year-old horse could be joined in the Plate by his stablemate Christopher Wren.
However, it is probably more likely that Christopher Wren will take up his appointment in the Grand Annual Chase on Friday instead.
With both the Gifford runners being outsiders in the betting it would be a surprise to the bookmakers and punters if they were to win.
