Worthing residents can find out more about their family history for free courtesy of the Worthing Village Heritage Project which has a small pot of money left.
The Heritage Lottery Fund which funded the Worthing Village Project has given approval to spend some of it on researching the family history of local residents.
Residents will have the chance to work with family history specialist Phil Wood to trace their ancestors but the offer is available for a limited time only.
As the Heritage Lottery Fund funds the work residents are asked that extracts from the research are made available for local history research and possible publication – either online or in print.
If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please contact Phil Wood on 07921527136 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Worthing Village Heritage Project is a two-year project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund managed by local historian and local resident Chris Hare.
