Worthing charity Guild Care hold an Open Day at their care homes tomorrow (Wednesday September 3rd) for a tour of the home and a chat with residents and staff.
Lindfield House in Wykeham Road, Caer Gwent in Downview Road and Irene House in Parkfield Road, Tarring will all be open from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Visitors are welcome to come along and view the homes but Guild Care would be grateful if you could ring first to let them know you will be attending on 01903 327327.
The Guild Care Centre will also be open to any members of the public who would like to find out the numerous services they offer to help people maintain their independence in the community.
This might be finding out about their classes for yoga, tai-chi and pilates; their therapy room for hairdressing, foot care, massage, wellbeing and beauty treatments for men and women over 50. There is assisted bathing for those finding difficulty in accessing their bath; poetry and discussion groups; themed events, entertainment; social bowling, games, cards and computers; plus Oscar’s coffee bar for homemade cakes, snacks and good coffee and healthy two course lunches for just over £4.
There will be talks on Financing Care at 10.30 am, Powers of Attorney at 11.30 am and Making a Will at 1.30 pm.
