The West End Local Action Team (LAT) hold a community engagement event outside Gala Bingo in Rowlands Road, Worthing from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm on Thursday April 9th.
Local police officers will be joined by Worthing Mayor Vic Walker who opens the event and local councillors Diane Guest and Paul High.
The LAT are organising a number of initiatives in the area in order to reduce crime. This event will see them launch their ‘Rat on a Rat’ campaign which will encourage people to report incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour. The event is part of a larger strategy to reduce the fear of crime in the area.
Officers will be on hand to engage with members of the public – listening to your concerns.
There will also be free and coffee.
Local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Sally Haggis also holds local surgeries outside Gala Bingo giving residents the opportunity to meet her in person. Sally is available for anyone to come and talk about issues they want to discuss.
The next Heene surgery is from 12.00 noon to 12.30 pm on Tuesday (April 7th) and the following one from 11.00 am to 11.30 am on Tuesday May 5th.
