Hoedown for Goring Girl Guides

Hoedown for Goring Girl Guides

Goring Girl Guides Niamh Heaysman and Alessie Murden  are to benefit from a fundraising Hoedown at St Mary’s Church Hall, Goring on Saturday February 8th.

The ‘So Last Century’ Band provide the music and of course there is the statutory caller. Raffle prizes include £100 donated by Worthing Pier’s Southern Pavilion; a signed ‘Sheryl Crowe’ CD donated by Turner Spear Ltd;  beautifully handcrafted silver jewellery, textiles, glass and many more fantastic prizes. Other sponsors include Anthony Dickinson from Feast in Worthing, So Last Century Band, CH Media and ETI Ltd.

Niamh and Alessie from Goring 4th Girl Guides  were chosen at London & South East Region selection weekends for trips to Sri Lanka in 2014 and Japan in 2015.  While they are away the girls will participate in service projects to benefit the community and/or the environment.  Both girls need to fund their own trips through fund raising events such as the Hoedown.

For tickets contact Fiona Murden on 07974 512390 or Lorraine Heaysman on 01903 246946 or e-mail: lorraine.heaysman@ntlworld.com

Tickets are £12.00 including a Mexican supper.  The event is from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm and includes a licensed bar.
