Transition Town Worthing are to show the film “End of the Line” later this month which asks people to imagine a world without fish. The showing takes place at The Friends Meeting House on Sunday October 27th from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm.
“The End of the Line” has been lauded by the Times and the Economist as a wake up call for the fishing industry. Transition Town are joined by the members of Worthing’s first Catchbox scheme, which counteracts some of the large scale developments by working with small scale fishermen in our town. Cathbox provide fresh delicious, sustainably caught fish for Worthing dinner tables.
There will also be food to buy and share plus information on Catchbox and other food projects in and around town.
Entry costs £3.00.
The Friends Meeting House is at the rear of the building at 34 Mill Road, Worthing.
