National Theatre Live: ‘Skylight’ at Connaught Studio & Dome Cinema

 

The National Theatre production of Skylight (12A) is shown live from the West End at both the Connaught Studio and the Dome Cinema, Worthing at 7.00 pm tomorrow (Thursday July 17th).

Bill Nighy (Love ActuallyThe Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) and Carey Mulligan (Inside Llewyn DavisThe Great Gatsby) feature in the highly anticipated production of David Hare’s Skylight, directed by Stephen Daldry (The Audience), broadcast live from the West End by National Theatre Live.

On a bitterly cold London evening, schoolteacher Kyra Hollis (Carey Mulligan) receives an unexpected visit from her former lover, Tom Sergeant (Bill Nighy), a successful and charismatic restaurateur whose wife has recently died. As the evening progresses, the two attempt to rekindle their once passionate relationship only to find themselves locked in a dangerous battle of opposing ideologies and mutual desires.

The live event is sold out at the Connaught Studio but encore screening tickets for 7.30 pm on Tuesday August 12th are available at £14.50 with concessions £2.00 discount and Friends £3.00 discount.

The Connaught Studio is at 3 Union Place, Worthing and the Dome Cinema, Marine Parade on Worthing seafront.
