Nicola Stockley who is currently in her first year of studying a BA in Fine Art at Northbrook College has an exhibition at the St Paul’s Centre from March 7th to April 4th.
Nicky’s work is inspired by distortion and disrepair in the natural world and focuses on processes such as decomposition and how this alters a subject in comparison to its living self.
Nicky said: “I like to draw on a large scale and with a strong emphasis on detail, shape and line. My work usually takes on an obsessive quality, slowly growing section drawings which I find captivating, considering my subject is always slowly decaying”.
St Paul’s Centre is at 55b Chapel Road, Worthing.
