‘Then and Now’ – 100 Years of Wartime Poetry

Worthing’s Roundabout Poets present ‘Then and Now – 100 Years of Wartime Poetry’ at Worthing Library Lecture Theatre from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm today (Friday June 20th).

The poets have performed together for ten years, mainly at Worthing Library.  A variety of poets – famous, local and found are brought together to encapsulate the emotions felt on and off the battlefield.

Emma White, Heritage Project Manager at West Sussex County Council, sets the scene.

The free event is part of the Worthing World of Words Festival, a celebration of books, literature, drama and the joy of words.

Tickets  are available from Worthing Library on 01903 704809.

Worthing Library is in Richmond Road, Worthing.
