Worthing charity Guild Care welcomes Paul Burstow MP to speak at their AGM at the Guild Care Centre on Tuesday October 1st.
Paul Burstow, who was former Minister of State for Care Services last year, is speaking on ‘Rethinking Ageing’, a matter which concerns a large number of professionals in health and social care.
With the country’s ageing population increasing dramatically, and the number of older people with dementia, learning difficulties, not to mention a wide range of health problems, there is a need to rethink the way we help people remain independent while supporting those who are most vulnerable.
Everyone is welcome to attend and keep in touch with the latest developments at Worthing’s largest charity including their new dementia care home with a dementia community centre.
The AGM will be held at the Guild Care Centre, North Street, Worthing. Doors open at 5.30 pm for a 6.00 pm start. A light buffet and refreshments will follow.
