‘Reclaiming Childhood’ at Worthing Art Gallery

Worthing Museum & Art Gallery hosts the ‘Reclaiming Childhood’ art exhibition from the September 13th to January 24th 2015.

Contemporary portrait painter, Claire Phillips, creates an exhibition of paintings to provoke debate about the issues surrounding the use of child labour in India.

Claire’s paintings show the very nature of the child – playful, mischievous, innocent and vulnerable – juxtaposed against the stories of their experience, told from their own words and sound tracks from her journey to meet them.

Worthing Museum & Art Gallery is in Chapel Road, Worthing is open every day except Sunday and Monday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
