Worthing Daily has been approached by Mike van Venrooij who is researching the air war in World War Two. Mike is looking for relatives of Sgt Rodney Henry Pyle who lived in the Worthing area.
Sgt Pyle was a crew member of a Lancaster which crashed in Dinster, Holland on June 22nd 1943 with the loss of all the crew’s lives. Mike is trying to find the families of all the crew. 26-year-old Sgt Pyle was living at Ecclesden Farm, Angmering at the time – son of Reginald Charles Talbot Pyle and Mildred Pyle.
