Three from Worthing arrested after serious assaults

 

Two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of assault in Worthing around 11.00 pm Thursday night (June 26th).

Police were called to Marine Parade to an assault outside a property.  A 46-year-old, was found injured in the beach shelters on Marine Parade at around 4.00 am with a serious head injury and is currently in hospital.

Another fight was reported on Western Row around midnight involving the same group of people. A  43-year-old suffered a swollen face, jaw and hand, bruised back and ribs. He was treated at Worthing Hospital.

A 26-year-old man from Worthing was arrested on suspicion of two counts of GBH and remains in custody at this time.

A 38-year-old woman from Worthing and a 43-year-old man from Worthing have been arrested for GBH and are also still in custody.
