Sussex Hard Rock band Trailer Trash play at The Elms, Broadwater tonight (Saturday July 12th).
Trailer Trash was formed in 2009 when members of local Sussex bands Dirty Shoes , Tempest and Highway Jones agreed to hastily put together a new group to fulfil the offer of a regular monthly slot at a venue in Hove.
The venue is sadly gone but, quickly realising the potential the new group had, Trailer Trash decided to continue on and are still going strong in 2014 having impressed local audiences with a set that consists of less well-worn numbers from the Hard Rock /US FM Radio scene.
Their aim is simple: to play the best Hard Rock tracks, whether they be album tracks or hit singles. Music by artists like Kiss, AC/DC, Guns & Roses, Dio, Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, David Bowie, UFO, Def Leppard, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Whitesnake. The set offers up a lot of welcome surprises for Rock Connoisseurs but also plenty of staple favourites for those who like to sing-along.
Trailer Trash said: “With UK radio and television having long given up on Classic Rock, Trailer Trash is a great opportunity to keep the torch lit for some of the best Rock music of the last 40 years.”
The Elms as at 66 Broadwater Street East, Broadwater, Worthing.
