Transition Daytime Group discusses Transition Streets

Transition Town Worthing’s Daytime Group meets on Thursday April 10th from 10.30 am to 12.15 pm at the Munch Cafe to discuss a new  project – ‘Transition Streets’.

The new scheme enables people to take a number of effective, practical, money and energy-saving steps together with a group of neighbours, friends or family.

Over 65 groups and 550 households in Totnes Devon have joined the project and worked through the programme.  The award-winning community engagement project has done the legwork to create a tried-and-tested way to break down the barriers and bring people together to take action.

The Daytime Group will also discuss the problems caused by plastic bags and what can be done, and finally introduce a new local venture called ’Save Time Save Money’.

All are welcome to join the discussion at the new venue which is child friendly.

The Munch Cafe is at 3-5 Royal Arcade, Worthing.
