One Worthing man and a woman driving in Worthing were among nine charged on New Years Day by Sussex Police in their drink-drive campaign during the festive period.
Edwardo Daniele, 36, a hairdresser, of Offington Drive, Worthing was charged with drink driving after being stopped in Kingsway, Hove, at 2.50 am on Wednesday (January 1st) because his vehicle had no lights on. He will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on January 30th.
Alexandra Capone, 39, unemployed, was charged with failing to supply a specimen of breath after her car had been seen being driven badly in Worthing on Wednesday afternoon (January 1st). She will appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on February 25th.
A total of 15 people were arrested by Sussex Police on Tuesday (December 31st) and Wednesday (January 1st). Nine were charged, three were bailed to return at a later date and three were released with no further action.
