‘Wildplay’ comes to Worthing

‘Wildplay’ comes to Worthing

Wildplay which organises creative nature play and woodland craft opportunities for children aged 3 to 8 years has come to Worthing.

Nancy Carter, a mother of two young girls who wanted to create an opportunity for children to creatively engage with nature, founded Wildplay in 2013 in Portslade.  Now run by Beky Daly the heart of Wildplay is still passionate about children engaging with their natural surroundings, and in an ever more technology-based world, Wildplay is an ultimate escape to the adventures of a simpler time.

Beky said:  “I’m Worthing born and bred and was keen to get things started over here as well as keeping the Portslade sessions going.  We had our first Worthing session last month and have sessions planned at Beach House Grounds on July 5th, August 2nd and September 6th.”

Worthing sessions take a nautical theme as Wildplay will be beach-combing to facilitate their crafty and play endeavours.  The one  tomorrow (Saturday July 5th) is ‘Pirates’.

All sessions are on Saturday mornings at 10.15 am and cost £7.50 per child.
