Worthing care home opens doors to the public

Westdene House Care Home, Worthing holds an afternoon tea party from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm on Friday June 19th.  The home is opening its doors to the public as part of National Care Home Open Day.

Local people will be able to look around the care home and enjoy live music, delicious homemade cakes, and tea with great company.

The open day aims to create positive links between care home providers, residents and staff teams and their local communities.

Peter Catchpole, West Sussex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health, said: “The open day gives local people an opportunity to take a look around their local participating care home and join their celebration of this year’s themes ‘the arts’ and ‘valuing staff’.”

Westdene House is at 1 Rye Close, Worthing.
