Worthing Cat Welfare Trust opens second shop

Worthing Cat Welfare Trust opens second shop

Worthing Cat Welfare Trust opens a second shop in the Guildbourne Centre, Worthing later this month.   The other shop is in South Street, Tarring.

The charity needs the second shop due to the rising costs of keeping the charity running (food, litter, veterinary costs) and the massive increase in the number of cats they are asked to take in – almost 400 last year.

Donations are always gratefully accepted of good quality clothing (men’s and women’s), good condition shoes and boots, coats, children’s clothes, ornaments, books, bric-a-brac, CDs and DVDs, framed pictures, linens and small items of furniture.

Please call 07712 132707 or e-mail Sue.Lipman@WorthingCatWelfare.co.uk to arrange collections.

Worthing Cat Welfare Trust has spent over 18 years caring for abandoned, sick and distressed cats, organising veterinary treatment, neutering, fostering, re-homing, dealing with lost cats – all throughout the Worthing district.  In order to support these activities, the charity relies solely on donations, legacies and gifts as well as the fund-raising activities of many of its dedicated volunteers.
