If you love musical theatre, you’ll love West End Experience! The West End experience gives young people the opportunity to train and perform with West End professionals.
As we see the closing of ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘Rock of Ages’ in London’s West End, the leads – Rachael Wooding (Scaramouche), Oliver Tompsett (Galileo), Natalie Andreou (Sherrie) are coming to work and sing with the young talent of Sussex at the West End Experience Summer School and Concert in aid of The Marlets Hospice.
Led by local actors and teachers, Craig and Rebekah Whiteley, West End Experience are offering SCHOLARSHIPS to 3 young talented individuals who show promise in singing, dance and acting, aged 7-19. Could you or someone you know have what it takes to work with these leading professionals and perform alongside them to an audience of 100’s?
Oliver Tompsett said: “After working solidly in the west end from Mamma Mia into Wicked and then Rock of Ages straight into We Will Rock You’s final year, I am thrilled to be able to reach out and sing with the up and coming talent that West End Experience nurtures & showcases, all
for a fantastic cause.”
Natalie Andreou said: “To see such talent emerging across the country is so inspiring, and the week with West Experience gives children the perfect platform to really showcase all their talents. Im really
excited and can’t wait to sing with you all!”
A student said: “This was the best week of my life. I’ve made some amazing friends and have been taught by the most incredible performers. I wish every week was West End Experience week”
And a parent said: “Thank you soooooo much for the best week my daughter has probably ever had. I don’t think I have ever felt quite as proud as I did last night and certainly shed more than one tear! The show was just brilliant and quite unbelievable what they achieved in just 5 days!”
