Best-selling author Peter James appointed as patron of Worthing Relate

 

Peter James, the award winning, best-selling author, has been appointed patron of  Relate Brighton Hove Eastbourne Worthing and Districts.  The charity provides counselling services for Worthing and surrounding villages from its centre at 47 South Street, Worthing.

Jo Carden, Director of Relate Brighton Hove Eastbourne Worthing said: “Relate supports people of all ages with every kind of relationship problem, big or small.  We work with individuals, couples and families in all sorts of situations.

“They might be carers, those in single sex relationships, those affected by illness such as prostate cancer, those in prison and their families, or those who have suffered domestic abuse.  The list is endless.  We are absolutely delighted that Peter has agreed to be a patron and help us continue our work. ”

Peter James’ series of police novels have sold over 16 million copies in 36 languages and features Roy Grace, a Sussex police detective. The murders that Roy solves occur throughout Sussex. Peter’s next Roy Grace book, You Are Dead will be published on May 21st and will feature a murder at Hove Lagoon.

Peter James has also been appointed patron of Relate North and South West Sussex.
